Disadvantages
  1. Environment surrounding the welding method has to be constant then this method is limited to draught free situation.
  2. High maintenance costs suitable to extra electronic mechanism.
  3. Less capable where elevated duty cycle necessities are needed.
  4. Setting of plant variables need a high skill level.
  5. Radiation effects are extra severe
  6. High initial setup cost.
