MIG Welding

MIG Welding Points : MIG Welding Process, Method, Metal inert Gas Welding It is also commonly refer to as MIG (Metal inert Gas) welding. The method has characteristics, which are like to those of methods with tungsten of carbon electrodes, but at equal time it extend the use of the process to welding heavier depth then (Here-to-fore) practical and there by broadens seriously its feasible applications. This method consists of continuously feeding bare or process filler metal in wire type during a proper holder. This filler metal which serous as the electrode carry the welding current and retain a welding arc with the end wire and the work. Wire is constantly fed to the arc at the rate at which it is consumed and transferred to the base metal. The arc is shielded by an inert monatomic gas which flours as of the nozzle of the holder during which the electrode also pass.
