Bedding in Method

Bedding in Method Points : Bedding in Method Condition surface of a casting is not smooth, bedding in way in which a cope i.e.. a sand cover is required might also mould a solid pattern. In this process the pattern is hammer down or pressed to bed it into the sand of foundry floor or in a drag filled partly by sand to type the mould cavity. Cope is reamed up runners and risers are cut with the cope box is lift. Currently the pattern is reserved the surfaces of drag and cope replace in its correct position for carrying out the mould.
