1. Intake Manifold
2. Exhaust Manifold 1. Intake Manifold Intake manifold is a aluminum or cast iron tube for moving the air fuel mixture as of the carburetor toward the engine intake port. But someplace the super charges or governors are use. Intake manifold is making the carburetor is attach to it; mixture preserve arrive at each cylinder. Carburetor is mounting on intake manifold. Intake manifold is rising on the side of the cylinder block in L-Head engines. It is located among the two cylinder banks on V-8 Engines. 2. Exhaust Manifold Exhaust manifold is generally prepared of cast iron. It is bolt to the side of the cylinder block on L-head engines and to the side of the cylinder head going on I-head engines. V-8 engines, present are two exhaust manifolds, one for every bank cylinders. Some V-S engines, every manifold is linked to a part exhaust pipe, tail pipe and muffler. They are connected by a crossover pipe and exhaust during a ordinary muffler and tail pipe. Exhaust manifold for eight-cylinder inline traveler car engine.
