1. Inside and Outside Gouges
Gouges chisels by curved sections and might be also inside or outside ground.
Inside ground gouges are used in precisely the similar method for inside curved

curving hollow.
2. Paring Chisel
Paring chisels this is use for shaping and preparing the face of wood and is

3. Bevelled edge firmer chisel
Bevelled edge firmer chisel is use for extra slight or fine work. It’s useful for
getting into corners where the common firmer chisel would be clumsy.
4. Mortise Chisel
Mortise chisel are intended to endure heavy work. They are prepared by a heavy
deep blade with a kind shoulder or collar to endure the force of the mallet blow
on the oval-sectioned handle. Blade varies in width as of 3 to 16mm.
5. Firmer Chisel
This chisel is mainly helpful for common function and may be use by hand pressure
or mallet. It has flat blade about 125mm long. Width of blade varies from 1.5 to
