Tidal Energy Points : Tidal Energy, Tidal Power Plant Periodic rise and fall in water level of sea which are passed by action of sun and moon on water of the earth is call as tide. The value of this tidal cycle is difference in water elevation at high and low tides. This differential head is utilized in working a hydraulic turbine which in turn drives generator to generate electricity.
