Construction of Benson Boiler Points : Construction of Benson boiler The benson boiler is too vertical boiler and it has two types of evaporators viz. Convective evaporator and radiant evaporator. Radiant evaporator is build up as near as possible to combustion chamber. Economizer is too use in Benson boiler to heat the feed water as of flue gases. This heated water pass to evaporating drum. At top of boiler air pre heater is installing to heat the air which is necessary for combustion in combustion chamber.
