Fusion Welding Points : Fusion Welding Process In case of fusion welding, element to be jointed are held in place as the molten metal is full to the joint. Molten metal might come as of the parts themselves (i.e. parent metal) or filler metal which normally has work of parent metal. Joint surface befall plastic or constant molten as of heat from the molten filler metal or other cause. Therefore, when the molten metal solidifies or fuses, joint is produced.
Fusion welding, according to method of heat generate, might be classified as: 1. Thermit welding, 2. Gas welding, and 3. Electric arc welding.
