The ignition system consists of a battery, switches ignition dispenser, ignition coil, spark plugs and essential wiring. Several systems use transistors to decrease the load on the dispenser contact points. Further systems use a combination of transistors and a magnetic pick-up in the dispenser. Compression ignition engines do not have such ignition systems. In a density ignition engine, just air is compressed in the cylinder, and at the end of compression caress the fuel is injected which grab fire due to the high hotness and pressure of the compressed air.
