Shell Type
1.The core is surrounded by the winding.The core surrounds the winding.
2.Natural cooling is provided.Natural cooling cannot provide.
3.The path of the mutual flux magnetic flux is in series.The outer path of the magnetic mutual flux in the yoke is in parallel. Each of the side limbs carry half of the flux, so their cross-sectional area is half that of central limb.
