Transfer Moulding Process

Transfer Moulding Process Points : Transfer Moulding Process Transfer molding process is like to compression molding in to a cautiously designed, pre-measured quantity of uncured molding multiple is use for molding process. The dissimilarity is, instead of load the polymer into an open mold, plastic material is pre-heated with loaded into a holding chamber call the pot. Material is then forced into pre-heated mold crack by a hydraulic plunger during a channel call sprue. Mold stay closed until the material inside is cure. Transfer molded component intrinsically contain less flash excess material to runs down the parting line of mold than their density molded complement as the mold remains closed while the plastic enters the mold cavity. But, transfer molding still produce extra waste material than compression molding as of sprue, the air holes and the overflow grooves that are frequently required to allow air to escape with material to run over.
