Construction of Lancashire Boiler Points : Construction of Lancashire boiler Lancashire boiler is fire tube inside a fire small pressure with natural flow boiler. Boiler has a horizontal cylindrical case prepared of steel. Shell is providing by two similar fire tubes which run during whole length of shell. To contain a fire grate, fire tubes contain larger diameter at face of shell with diameter decrease slowly as they travel forward to back. Every fire lube has its individual furnace with grate at front end of shell. Coal is feed to grate during fire door. Fire Bridge is give at the back of grate to put off fuel declining in fire lube. Dampers are giving in path of flue gases to adjust flow of gases.
