Thermal Efficiency

Thermal Efficiency Points : Thermal Efficiency Thermal efficiency is the ratio between heat actually utilized and total heat produced electrically. Thermal Efficiency = Heat actually utilized/Total Hear produced Electricity
Thermal efficiency can be understood by the example of electric kettle. During the boiling of water in electric kettle out of heat produced some goes to heat the kettle itself and some is lost in air due to radiation and the remaining heat utilized for boiling water.
