Magnetism Separation

Magnetism Separation
Points : Magnetism Separation, Definition Definition A magnetic separator separates magnetic form nonmagnetic values, or values with high conductivity form those with low conductivity. Minerals in a solution are exposed to a set of magnets mounted on a drum. As the minerals pass the magnets, the magnetic minerals are attracted to the magnets:
The nonmagnetic minerals are routed away from the magnetic drum for further processing. The magnetic values that are attached to the drum rotate around until they bump into a scraping, washing device that cleanses the drum and removes all values from it. Directly below the scraper, ductwork routes the values toward further metallurgical processes.
