1. Sliding Contact Bearings
2. Rolling Contact Bearings 1. Sliding Contact Bearings Sliding contact bearings within which sliding act is guided in a instantly line with transport radial loads may be call slipper and guide bearings. Sliding contact bearings in which the sliding stroke is down the perimeter of a circle or an arc of a circle and moving radial loads be identified like journal or sleeve bearings. This kind of bearing is usually use in industrial machines to put up bearing loads in any radial way. 2. Rolling Contact Bearing There is two kind of Rolling Contact Bearing:
a. Ball Bearings,
b. Roller Bearings.
Ball and roller bearings consist of an internal chase which is rising on top of the shaft or journal and an external race which is passed with the accommodation of case. Number of balls or rollers is use with these is held at correct distance by retainer thus to they do not stroke each other. The retainers are slender strip with are generally in two parts which are gather after the balls have been property spaced. B ball bearings are use for light loads with the roller bearing is use for heavier loads and rolling contact bearings, depending leading load to be passed.
