- All times look at cutting end, as chip being removed resolve whether the chisel must be raised or lower to raise depth of cut.
- While holding work in vise put a pacing block below the job to stop its slipping.
- Always chamfer bend where the cut ends to stop breaking.
- Clutch hammer handle well back towards handle.
- Choose correct size and form of chisel.
- Never use a grow rapidly head chisel.
- For all time chip towards vise jaws.
- Beat the chisel with a solid gust.
- Never hold chisel too tightly.
- Never look on head of chisel.
- Never use a deadly chisel.
