Plastic Film Capacitors

Plastic Film Capacitors Points : Plastic Film Capacitors Their construction is similar to that of paper capacitors except that the paper is replaced by a thin film of plastic (say polystyrene). They are available from about 5 pF to 0.5 uF and for working voltage up to 600 volts. Their insulation resistance is very high (100,000 M ohm or so) thus resulting in very small leakage current.
