Fleming’s Right Hand Rule
Points : Fleming’s Right Hand Rule
The direction (or polarity) of the dynastically induced e.m.f. can be determined by the
following rule, know as Fleming’s right hand rule.
“Hold the thumb, the first and the second (or middle) finger of the right hand at alright angles to each other. If the thumb points to the direction of motion and the fist finger to the direction of the filed, the second finger will point in the direction of induced e.m.f. (i.e. the second finger will point to the positive terminals of e.m.f or will indicate the direction of current flow if the ends of the conductor are connected to an external circuit.
