Braze WeldingPoints : Braze Welding, DefinitionA Braze welding is like to brazing in that the base metal is not melted except
connected by an alloy of minor melting point. The main dissimilarity is that in braze
welding the alloy, is not pinched into the joint by vessel action. Braze-welded
combined is organized very much similar to one for welding but that an try must be
made to avoid sharp corner that are easily overheated and may too be points of stress
attention. Braze welding is used widely for repair work and some fabrication on such
metals as cast iron, malleable iron, wrought iron, and steel. It is used, other than to a
lesser extent, on copper, nickel, and high-melting-point brasses.
